September. Change. New teachers. New students. New friends. New challenges.

Dear Stark Families,

STARK’S  WEEKLY COVID-19 NOTIFICATION:  4 Positive Cases  (Week of 9/5/22)

September. Change. New teachers. New students. New friends. New challenges. As we begin the new school year, I hope we will all embrace, support, and celebrate, the many changes we encounter. As the principal of Stark, I am always excited about the new changes in my life. It is always an honor and privilege to be part of this amazing learning community.

Our teachers are in their classrooms, our students are moving from class to class, and people of all ages are smiling.  It has been a great start and our students are acclimating themselves nicely to their new environments.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank our talented staff for a great start to the 2022-2023 school year.  Their hard work and dedication is to be commended.

As we continue to work our way through September and the rest of the school year, let us welcome and marvel at the seasons’ changes. As the saying goes… change is inevitable; growth is optional. I encourage you to help your children see and accept new situations and challenges as opportunities for growth. The beauty and strength of our public school system is that it helps prepare our children for the difficult, diverse and challenging world they will encounter as adults—an inspiring world of wonder and constant change that is inevitable. Happy September!
