Student Life

Our development of Character Strengths is embedded into every classroom setting and celebrated and recognized daily. Our school prides itself on establishing critical connections with families. We host well-attended monthly family events including all students and families. Staff integrates and develops internal motivation for all students to demonstrate characteristics of a highly effective learner. This includes the development of the whole child, with opportunities to engage their minds,
bodies and hearts! 

Our staff has a high retention rate, and the majority of staff have taught at Stark for years, providing a reliable and familiar experience for students. Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade have the ability to work with multiple teachers for Literacy, Math, Science and Social Studies, to help them prepare for working with a variety of teachers in middle school.

Students entering our school will find a well-maintained and engaging learning environment where both students and staff are happy, friendly and operating with  respect for themselves, others and the environment they are in.
